Sené Chic's Artisan Soap is proudly handmade in the Nation's Capitol - Washington, DC.   With Shea Butter as the base and utilizing the cold process method, each bar is carefully crafted, hand-cut, and packaged for your head to toe cleansing enjoyment.

My love for soap-making began while serving in the US Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa, with a group of amazing women who own and operate the Margo Soap Factory.  For 14 months I worked along side with these women learning the art of product sourcing and soap making; while teaching them valuable marketing skills and techniques, new recipes and basic business financial literacy.  

After 14 months of exclusively using the amazing 3-4 ingredient bars of soap created by the women, there was no way I could return to the US and go back to using commercially produced soap with more than 15 ingredients. 

Sené Chic's Artisan Soap is 100% All Natural - Organic - Vegan, and safe for the entire family.  It is crafted with love, using pure, skin-loving, ethically sourced vegetable oils (NO pre-made bases, fillers, detergents, preservatives, or palm oil).  Each bar also includes skin-safe essential oils and phthalate-free scents for fragrances; as well as natural colorants from plants, herbs, and clays.

PLEASE NOTE:  Handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses.  To extend the life of your bar, use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct streams of water.
